Israel & United States against Iran — Implications for Nations

Belize City, March 22^nd 2026: Wow! What a world we humans are now living in. After 1969 or thereabouts, a new set of thinking began to take place in the mainly, Western nation-states, or some would say in the G 7 countries. In the United States, the ruling oligarchy decided that keeping industrial capitalism was no longer necessary as the Soviet Union was not a threat anymore to the West. But to engineer this shift to financial capitalism, leaders who stand in the way had to be eliminated. So, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, followed by his brother Bobby, and then by Martin Luther King in April 1968. In fact, the music (song by 5^th Dimension) openly celebrated that the “Age of Pisces had been replaced by the Age of Aquarius – where rock, sex, and drugs reigned supreme.

Before this shift took place, countries began to gain their independence from the colonial powers of Europe. While the industrial power of the United States was unmatched by any other power, the Soviet Union (Russia) was the second most powerful country on Earth, which threw all its weight to help the newly independent countries to industrialize so as to grant their citizens a high standard of living even as the Europeans did everything to prevent this. Thus between 1950 and 1990, the majority of humans had a better living standard and the global population exploded, mainly because of better sanitation brought about by industrial power.

But the Soviet Union collapsed in 1990, and one nation-state became fifteen new nation states, the largest of the fifteen, being Russia. And with this new shift also saw a new type of thinking, a new policy by the global elites – the oligarchy. I believe the best description to describe the new class is “the Epstein class” which believes in the right to exploit people and nations to achieve their desires – from the bedroom to the war room.

The years between 1991 and 2008 saw the collapse of the living standards of Russia so extreme that the average age of death dropped from 78 years to some 62 years. Then the Russians in 2012 elected a former intelligence officer, Vladimir Putin as President who changed Russia by taking economic power from the European Rothschilds who had bought the natural resources of Russia during the heyday of privatization orchestrated by the IMF and the West. The Europeans-Anglo-Americans became angry with President Putin because he restored Russia’s glory, making Russia today the fifth economic powder in the world and the second military power but the number one nuclear power in today’s world. In 1999, the West begun to encircle Russia in a bid to exploit and subject (enslave) them. Russia protested and after the Western overthrow in 2014 of the democratically elected government in Ukraine, Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022 to forcefully stop their destruction by the “Epstein Class.” In 2023, in a public address President Biden openly stated that the aim of NATO is to breakup Russia into five pieces, so that Russia can be better controlled and exploited. Well, what the West has done is turned Russia into the best fighting force on the planet today, just as Germany’s Hitler turned the Soviet Red Amy into the best fighting force in 1945. Today after 4 years of brutal war, Ukraine is finished, and Russia is again a Great Power.

The Epstein Class licking-their-wounds from their Russian defeat on February 28^th, 2026, turned to their next target – Iran. Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran for three decades was assassinated by Israel and the United States, along with his wife, his son’s wife, and grandchild in the first bombing on February 28^th, 2026. Within three hours of the assassination, Iran sent missiles and drones to Israel and United States bases in the Persian Gulf. Today is twenty-two days since the war started.

The Israel-USA coalition has bombed Iran such that Tehran looks like the Israeli destruction of Gaza. However, Iran has returned the favor by destroying Israel’s port of Haifa, and causing considerable destruction to Tel Aviv, Israel largest city and the commercial center. In addition, Iran has destroyed the large American radar installations in the Persian Gulf. The Gulf states of Sudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Oman have all suffered tremendous destruction of crude oil pumping stations (20% of global production), refineries (30% of global production), LNG gas production (20% of world’s total), aluminum production (23% of global total) fertilizer production (34% of global production). Plus, the airline hub of Doha and the massive tourism of the area is now destroyed. Note that the Gulf countries import 70% of their food through the Straits of Hormuz. I have been informed that Taiwan only has enough crude oil to last until the end of March 2026.

The burning question is why? Why this war? Because Iran in retaliation for the Israel-United States attacking it, has partially closed the strategic choke-point waterway known as the Straits of Hormuz. As of this writing Iran is only permitting Chinese, Indian and Japanese Ships to transit the Straits of Hormuz. Thus, no crude oil, no aluminum, no LNG gas, no refined petroleum products, no tourism, no cloud storage (data centers), no fertilizer, and no food are coming or going to the Gulf of Persia States. This belief, that they can do whatever they feel like is the problem with “the Epstein Class.”

We have a saying by George Santayana that “those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Iran used to be named PERSIA, a 5,000-year-old civilization. The only other surviving civilizations are India, and China the oldest surviving one. According to history, King Cyprus the Great, some 2,564 years ago freed the Jewish people from captivity of 70 years after the Persians defeated the Babylonians. The Bible referred to King Cyrus as God’s Anointed One (Isaiah 45:1). So, what is Israel problem with Iran today? One word, Zionism. Israel’s Prime Minister, an Ashkenazi Jew has a forty-year-old dream that today’s Israel will rule from the Nile River to the Euphrates River (which includes the Levant Lebanon, Jordon, Israel, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and parts of Egypt and Iran). (Genesis 15:18) and become Greater Israel. Well Iran stands in the way and will never surrender to Israel.

But not all Jews are Zionist or believe in such “Greater Israel” nonsense. The Rothschilds immense wealth along with the Jewish Zionists bankers of the United States have control of the Executive and Legislative branches of today’s United States so Mr. Netanyahu got his way February 28^th, 2026, and has proceeded to try to completely destroy Iran. After 22 days it does not seem like the Israel-United Sates Axis will succeed. While Iran knows it can never defeat the United States, it has engaged in a strategic decision to fight an asymmetric war, where it only has to survive, and force the United States to quit because of the high cost of the conflict. Iran has geography on its side with huge mountains, versus the open flat lands of the Gulf States and Israel.

But we will see how this war goes. A short word about the Jews and my name – Lindo.

Lindo is a Sephardic Jewish name from Portugal. The Lindo’s went from Portugal to London and to Jamacia. Alexander Lindo (1742-1812) had a son Abraham Alexander Lindo (1775-1849) who had a son named Fredrick Alexander Menahem Lindo (1821-1882) who had many sons, but one named George “Papa” Randolph Lindo (1873-1960) who is my great grandfather. His son Maurice Lindo was my father’s, James Lindo’s father. The source is Jackie Ranston’s book, “Lindo Legacy” given to me by my aunt Nita who got it from Blanche Lindo Blackwell of Jamacia, of Ian Flemimg fame and the mother of Chris Blackwell of Bob Marley fame, and daughter of Percy Lindo, Jamaica’s richest man. Since Abraham Alexander Lindo, the Jamaican Lindo’s gave up their Jewish faith and became Church of England followers. Another side note, I stopped supporting the Anglicans after they changed the Creed by dropping the Son, instead of … the “Holy Sprit proceeds from the Father and the Son”. When the Son is removed it means that the Word is no longer Flesh, and humans cannot imitate God nor Jesus. This is the wickedness of the Epstein Class.

This wickedness of the Epstein Class is also present in our Belize. Take the BTL-proposed buyout of cable companies and Smart as an example of this wickedness – this idea that some can do whatever they feel like – from the bedroom to political economy, but no one elected them. A lot of noise is being made about it. But Belizeans should first remember how Belize is governed.

Belize is a Parliamentary democracy, which means that every maximum five years the citizens go to the polls and elect persons to a National Assembly. Adults of some 209,000 in number decide who in the 31 divisions will represent them in ruling Belize. Since all 209,000 electors cannot govern (it would be chaos), we elect representatives to rule on our behalf. So, the people send representatives to parliament to rule, to decide what and how we will be governed. A cardinal rule of democracy is that the minority MUST have its say. They must be allowed to speak and write and demonstrate, but they CANNOT have their way. That is for the majority. However, the minority can lobby, they can try to influence the majority but not rule.

In Belize we have two established major political parties, the Peoples United Party (PUP) and the United Democratic Party (UDP). They go to general and other elections. In the last election of March 2025, the PUP won 26 divisions and the UDP got 5 divisions. That means that the majority of those 26 PUP elected representatives are the people of Belize who will decide if BTL should buy the cable companies and Smart. This is the reality. If anyone has a problem, then go as George Price use to say, “go dirty your foot” – run for elections then you can decide. So, no special interest groups can decide, only the people through their elected representatives can decide what BTL will do since BTL is owned by the people and Government of Belize.

Instead of trying to govern, the special interest groups should rally behind and fully support our Government of Hon. John Briceno and the PUP. Why? Because the next couple of months will test our will to survive as a nation-state. If the Israel-United States war against Iran continues for the next two weeks or more, and especially if it continues to escalate our standard of living will either collapse or decrease. Thirty-four per cent of global fertilizer production will be lost for four or more years which will send food prices through-the-roof. Already crude and refined oil prices have increased by 10% and if the Straits of Hormuz remain partially close, JP Morgan Chase is predicting crude prices at $ 200 per barrel or about $ 30 per gallon for gasoline and diesel. Belize still has some crude oil so we can supply our small market with diesel to power our tractors, buses, boats, trucks, etc, but gasoline is another matter. Belize cannot refine gasoline at this moment. Government may have to enforce price controls, especially on food, and thus public support will be necessary to control the elites and their tendencies to rip off the citizens.

Now, perhaps more than ever, we need to be a united Belizean people!
